Vanilla Pear Cake - Light Fluffy & Delicous Recipe

The Nephew's Cake

Here is a fantastic and fun recipe to make with kids. It's in the same serie than the Lemon Yogurt Cake, we use a yogurt pot as a measuring tool for all quantities.

The mains ingredients of this cake, pear and vanilla have many health benefits. Vanilla beans & extract are chiefly composed of sugar, essential oils, vitamins and minerals. These components can help in regulating body metabolism and control blood pressure. Pear fiber seems to reduce cancer risk. Pears are also known to be the easiest fruit to digest and described as a "hypoallergenic" food, so when it is time to introduce fruit to infant, it looks like it's one of the best choice.

The Recipe

Ingredients for 6 portions:
  • 3 big pears
  • 1 individual nature yogurt
  • 1 & 1/2 (yogurt) cup of flour
  • 1 & 1/2 (yogurt) cup of almond powder
  • 2 (yogurt) cups of sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 1/2 (yogurt) cup of buttet
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tea spoon of baiking powder

First Step

Peal and cook the pears in order to make a puree.

In a big bowl, add all the ingredients, make sure your butter is soft or melted. Also, for the vanilla bean, cut it in half lengthwise and scrape the seeds. Mix the ingredients until you have a smooth and creamy unit.

To facilitate demolding, butter the cake pan and sprinkle flour

Second Step

Pour the mixture into your cake pan and bake 35 - 40 minutes at 180 ° C (350 ° F)

Bon App├ętit!!!
